star powder (CoCrW, Type 5)
remanium star powder is a non-precious CoCr dental alloy (Type 5 per DIN EN ISO 22674) for the additive manufacturing of crowns, bridges and metal-ceramic frameworks. Tungsten and silicon contribute to high strength and good processability, while the adapted coefficient of thermal expansion ensures reliable ceramic bonding. The composition matches the long-established remanium
star milling and casting alloys, making a clinically proven material base available for the LPBF process. The spherical powder with homogeneous grain size distribution produces smooth, dense framework surfaces.
