Substrate Plate (3-Pack)

In order to print a component, you need a substrate plate on which the component can be welded. This also helps to prevent distortion and to conduct the heat out of the component and the powder bed. Since this is a welding process, the alloy of the substrate plate and the powder must be weldable, so an aluminium substrate plate is needed for aluminium powder. There, the powder is applied layer by layer until the component is completely printed with the last layer. For the minimum operation of the BOLDSERIES you need one substrate plate.
